Yala Peak climbing overview

Yala Peak is situated north of Kathmandu in the Langtang Himalaya range near the border of Tibet at an elevation of 5732 meters. Yala Peak Climbing is one of the lowest trekking peaks and the easiest in Nepal.

Our journey of Yala Peak Climbing starts once we leave Kathmandu and drive to Dhunche, which is about 7 to 8 hours by bus, and we follow the trekking route of Langtang Valley and Kyangjin Gompa. Once we pass Kyangjin Gompa, then we will turn north to see Yala Peak. Yala Peak offers you a spectacular view of Langtang, Lirung, Langsisha Ri, Gangchepo, Dorche Pakpa, and many more mountain ranges from Nepal and Tibet.

If you’ve ever dreamed of climbing a Himalayan peak but you are still not sure where to start, the Yala Peak Climb in Nepal is a perfect choice. It is one of the easiest and shortest climbs. This 12-day adventure with Outshine Adventure takes you into the heart of the beautiful Langtang Valley, Kyanjing Gomba, Sherpa culture, and beautiful nature of the Himalayas; it is one of the most scenic and culturally rich regions close to Kathmandu.

Yala Peak is standing at 5,732 meters (18,790 ft), which is a non-technical and beginner-friendly climbing peak. You don’t need prior mountaineering experience, just good fitness and good makeup. On the way to Yala Peak, you’ll walk with our Sherpa guide through beautiful forests, pass suspension bridges with Langtang Khola, and cross through traditional Lama villages that show us the warm hospitality and culture of the Langtang trails.

Our sherpa guide leads you to Yala Base Camp, surrounded by towering peaks and open glaciers. On summit day, from the view from the top, you will see a breathtaking view, which you can't explain in words. You can see Shishapangma (8,027 m) in Tibet, along with Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, Naya Kang, Ganchenpo, and Tserko Ri shining all around.

The Yala Peak Climbing trip blends trekking, culture, and high-altitude adventure, making it an ideal first climb for anyone who wants a real Himalayan experience without the technical challenge.

The best time for Yala Peak climbing is the beginning of March to the end of May and the beginning of September to the end of December. You can choose the details of the itineraries for Yala Peak Climbing as per your desire and holidays.
