Ganesh Himal Trekking

Geographically located on the central eastern region of Nepal, Ganesh himal is one of the most enchanting regions which consist of spectacular views, untouched nature as well as flora and fauna in a wildness of deep forests. Ganesh Himal is named after the Hindu religion, elephant headed god named Ganesha who is supposed to be the lord of Good fortune and Success. This area can be seen clearly from the Capital, moving ahead on the route, we can meet warm and friendly people here too who are habited in this area from long back.

This trekking region is full of Ganesh Range Peaks (Ganesh I, Ganesh II, Ganesh III, Ganesh IV) which stands out like crystal in the form of "Great Himalayan Chain" forming the skyline. This great Himalayan massif is contained between the valley of the Budhi Gandaki in the west and Bhote Koshi in the east, which becomes Trishuli in the lower section. Our trekking journey starts right after the few hours of drive along the Kathmandu to Dhunche highway. The route passes through the foothills and lowland farm terraces from where we reach up to the ethnic Tamang villages located at the higher altitude. While passing by, we can see the close-up of Ganesh himal, Langtang, Bouddha Himal, Hiunchuli and other peaks of central Himalaya. The Shingla pass at 4200 m and Pansang La pass at 4100 m is the two high altitude pass and also are the finest view points on this trek. Ganesh Himal trekking is one of the most beautiful trekking route among many others in Nepal. This trekking ends at Dhading besi from where we drive to Kathmandu.
