My journey in tourism began humbly as a porter. Step by step, I grew into the role of trekking guide and tour leader, gaining invaluable experience in the Himalayas before moving into agency management and ultimately founding Outshine Adventure. These experiences not only shaped my career but also gave me a deep understanding of travelers’ expectations and the essential values of service, trust, and safety that define a successful adventure in Nepal.
I am deeply passionate about nature, eco-tourism, and cultural exchange, and I truly love my work in tourism. Speaking English, Spanish, Japanese, Hindi, and Sanskrit fluently, while also learning Chinese, allows me to connect closely with people from all over the world. What inspires me most is helping travelers design holidays that are comfortable, meaningful, and tailored to their interests—creating memories that encourage them to return to Nepal again and again.
Alongside Outshine Adventure, I am also the Managing Director and Founder of Hotel Kathmandu Suite Home (a boutique and luxury 3 stars hotel in our own building with a long aming in western part of Thamel) and Himalayan Travel Consultant.I also operate Swayambhu Star Banquet and Sunrise Apartment , high rated Airbnb, combining hospitality with long-term investments in tourism infrastructure. These ventures reflect my belief that tourism should not only welcome guests but also create sustainable opportunities and lasting memories.
In addition to entrepreneurship, I have been actively involved in social service and professional organizations:
President – Junkiri Nepal NGO, working to uplift underprivileged communities by supporting education, healthcare, and social welfare programs.
Joint Secretary – NGO Federation of Nepal, Kathmandu Branch (2016–2018), contributing to local NGO capacity building and community initiatives.
Executive Member – NGO Federation of Nepal (2019–2021), representing and supporting NGOs nationwide.
Former Coordinator – Welfare and Crisis Management, Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) (2013–2015), elected by more than 1,500 trekking agencies to support the well-being of tourism workers and strengthen the trekking industry.
Active participant in several federations and social organizations linked to Nepalese tourism and community development.
Through these experiences, I have always sought to combine business with social responsibility. At Outshine Adventure, we dedicate part of our earnings to community projects—supporting children’s education, improving healthcare, and providing clothing for needy families. With strong partnerships and the network of Junkiri Nepal NGO, this mission continues to grow every year.
